Here are some highlights of the Cultural Connections schedule!
- Learning about Yale’s resources: the Cultural Centers and their respective leaders, academic and student life offices, and getting advice from Yale College faculty and staff.
- Meeting your Peer Liaisons and First-Year Counselors: These upperclassmen join CC participants in interactive activities and engage in a panel on student life so ask all of your burning questions!
- Visiting the Yale Outdoor Education Center for kayaking, canoeing, swimming at the beach, s’mores and more!
- Showcasing your talents at our Poetry Jam, where both visiting artists and CC participants read their poetry, and/or at the CC Talent Show (all talents- instrumental, vocal, fine arts, dance, etc.- are welcome!).
- Participating in joint activities with first-year students in other Camp Yale Programs.
- Taking part in small group discussions, workshops, and other activities to gain a greater understanding of various academic resources and create a sense of community within CC.
- Touring Yale facilities and becoming better acquainted with all that Yale has to offer!
